Temps In The 20s Overnight In the Hudson Valley
Gloves, hat and a scraper may be needed for the frosty Monday morning commute.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service predicts temperatures in the 20s on Monday morning in the Hudson Valley. There will be areas of frost.
A reminder from the Institute for Business and Home Safety:
Pipes in attics, crawl spaces and outside walls are all vulnerable to freezing, especially
if there are cracks or openings that allow cold, outside air to flow across the pipes.
Holes in an outside wall where television, cable or telephone lines enter can provide access for cold air to reach pipes.
Temperatures will moderate slightly on Monday as high pressure moves offshore and another
area of low pressure approaches from the southwest.

But that's not necessarily good news, because that low pressure system is bringing more rain. Once that blows away, we have a chance of flurries Wednesday.
