HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Warmth will return briefly on Tuesday, but then plunge across the region — even into the 30s Wednesday night.

Temperatures should hit 80 degrees F before beginning to drop after sunset Tuesday, which will be at 8:08 p.m.

Again it will be a sunny week, except for clouds on Tuesday night. No rain is expected until the weekend, and even then there's only a 40 percent chance of showers.

"Our entire HVW area is dry once again and wildfire chances are high," Todd Snow of Hudson Valley Weather said on Facebook this weekend.
