Ossining girls roll
Saniya Chong deservedly so has received plenty of acclaim for her prowess on the basketball court but she would be the first one to admit she also has some awesome teammates to play with.
Those teammates, two especially, played well in Ossining's 90-40 home victory against Westlake Jan. 18.
Destini Walker tallied 21 points and Jalay Knowles registered 15 points for the Pride in the victory.
Chong of course was her usual strong self, recording 21 points and 10 assists in addition to making five 3-pointers.
Croton-Harmon girls win
Croton-Harmon's girls basketball team continued its successful season with a 44-34 victory against visiting Yorktown Jan. 18.
Grace Mulligan led the Tigers with 19 points with teammate Kate Dymes contributing 11 points.
Leading Yorktown was Jennifer Burke with 13 points and Kristen Boyle, who registered 12 points.
