Trump Claims Westchester Golf Club Worth $50M; His Lawyers Say Less
The value listed on a candidate disclosure form was much more than his tax lawyers are asserting to the town.
How much is Trump National Golf Club worth? Seems that it depends on the reason you are asking.
Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump listed the value of the 147-acre private club as being worth in excess of $50 million on a candidate disclosure form, according to ABC News.
However, ABC said, Trump’s tax lawyers have argued that the golf club is only worth $1.35 million.

The Ossining Receiver of Taxes has said that effectively Trump will be passing the tax burden onto the public which will not be allowed the use of the course if the assessment is cut to that amount.
Eyewitness News ABC7 said Ossining town officials laughed when asked if the property could only be worth $1.4 million.

The 2015 assessed value of the club is $14.3 million, Eyewitness News said, and that Trump's lawyers now claim its value to be $9 million.
