VaZa Salon to Host Sandy Hook Promise Benefit During Ossining Street Fair

June 14th, Ossining, New York: During the Ossining Village Fair, the brand new luxurious VaZa Salon is a proud sponsor and host of a day of services to raise funds and awareness for the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation. The Sandy Hook Promise Foundation Community Fund provides immediate and long-term aid, on request, to family members who lost loved ones, those wounded, and others in the Newtown community impacted by the tragedy that shook the world.

 “I’m a mother first” says Zamira Cutra, co-owner of VaZa Salon, “this was an incomprehensible tragedy and its aftermath will be felt for generations. My partner and sister Val and I wanted to do our small part by contributing to this fund by creating a fun day of hair services.” While brand new to Ossining, VaZa Salon’s owners have already shown their community-minded spirit. Val Tana and Zamira Cutra have set a new standard of service and luxury in and out of the salon.

Nail polish giant, OPI, has joined forces with Sandy Hook Promise Foundation and created a “Sandy Hook Green” nail polish which will be given with a minimum purchase or donation of $20. VaZa Salon will be offering hair braiding, tinsel extensions, and special “Sandy Hook Green” hair clips from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. 100% of these profits will go to benefit Sandy Hook Promise Foundation Community Fund, and in addition, 10% of all other services and products from the entire day offered in the salon will go to the foundation. For appointments or more information, call VAZA SALON 914-800-9137.
