Village Of Croton-On-Hudson: Reminder: Apply Now For Seasonal Parking Permit

November 16, 2021
As the winter season approaches, it is important for residents to be familiar with Village regulations and protocols regarding snow. While on-street parking is still permitted during the winter, residents must remove vehicles from streets if two or more inches of snow has accumulated to allow the Department of Public Works (DPW) to clear the streets. Plowing will continue until the snow has stopped and the streets have been cleared. The Village permits residents with no off-street parking the ability to obtain a permit for on-street parking during a storm. Permit applications for this year are available online by clicking here. Residents are encouraged to apply early to ensure permits are received before the first winter storm. As a reminder, residents are able to park their vehicles in municipal lots for the duration of a storm without a permit. These lots include Asbury Methodist, the lot behind Holy Name of Mary Church, the west end of Benedict Blvd., and the Municipal Building. Vehicles must be removed from these lots within 12 hours of the end of a snowfall. If you have any questions regarding seasonal parking, or for assistance please contact the office at 914-271-4781.
