Welcome Back! Taliaferro Farms and R & G Produce Return to Ossining Farmers Mkt SAT 5/24

This Saturday, spring pops open at Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers Market!

Help us welcome back Taliaferro Farms and R & G Produce. Both farms kept warm at home through the winter and now are ready to return to their enthusiastic customers in Ossining. Also this Saturday, we look forward to hosting Hudson River Apiaries and their varieties of local honey. They will appear at the market as a "day vendor," meaning that they sell on unique occasions, rather than every week. Seize the opportunity to stock up on their delicious honey!

This week two vendors are promoting great SALES on their products. Yellow Bell Farm is offering $2 OFF all packages of chicken breasts, legs/thighs, and wings. AND Kiernan Farm plans a discount on both their Ground Beef (Buy 5 one pound packages and get $10 OFF the total) and their Pork Sausage Links. On the links, the discount is 20% OFF per pound! Choose from Andouille, Breakfast, Chorizo, Hot Italian, and Sweet Italian varieties.

Join us for music at the market by Phil Dollard from 10 am to noon on Saturday, too.

Every week, the market brings together local farmers and food makers who sell seasonal fruits and vegetables; pasture-raised meats, chicken, and eggs; pickles; breads and baked goods; cheese; prepared foods to go, and more.

The market is located at the corner of Spring and Main Streets in downtown Ossining. As of this Saturday, May 24th, market hours are 8:30 am to 1:00 pm though November. Thank you for supporting local farmers and food makers!
