7 Swastikas Drawn At Theodore Roosevelt Park: Police
The graffiti was drawn using a purple marker, and police are looking for whoever did it. Supervisor Joseph Saladino condemned the act.

OYSTER BAY, NY — Nassau police are looking for whoever drew multiple swastikas at Theodore Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay sometime over the past two days.
At 8:40 a.m. Thursday, police saw seven swastikas, each around 10 inches, drawn on the picnic pavilion structure of the park, located at 25 West End Ave.
The drawings were made sometime between Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino denounced and condemned the crime on Thursday morning.
"Hatred, bias, or intolerance of any kind have no place in our town," Saladino stated via press release. "It is imperative that we speak out against hate in our communities and bring to justice the person or persons responsible for this anti-Semitic graffiti. We will not tolerate these detestable acts, and we call on anyone with information to come forward and help law enforcement catch the perpetrators."

Town Public Safety Officers are in the process of reviewing security camera footage from overnight, the Town announced. Officials immediately notified Nassau police, prompting Thursday morning's investigation.
"The Town and the Nassau County Police are committed bringing the perpetrators of this terrible act to justice," Saladino said.
Saladino said he urged the police department to issue a Crime Stoppers reward, which was sent out Thursday at 1 p.m.
