Cafe al Dente has been serving the Oyster Bay community for many years and it was quite distressing to find a sign on door that it has been closed . My wife and I moved to Oyster Bay from Muttontown because we loved the quaintness, beauty and sense of a real community.
The closing of the restaurant certainly has effected the community! Cafe al Dente provided a warm , clean, not to mention GREAT Italian cooking with reasonable pricing. The owners and staff made you feel right at home! I have not heard anything in the news as to the reopening date and hope that the Oyster Bay community would rally together to help bring back this wonderful establishment. I would appreciate any info that we can get to help bring it back sooner than later!
