Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and John is throwing a party. (Yes, the same John who founded John’s Crazy Socks) With no Village-wide trick-or-treat this year, we’re opening our doors for a safe, fun Halloween for children of all ages, and for grown-ups who still love a good costume. Admission is free, everyone is welcome, and we’re indoors, so the party goes on rain or shine.
Costume Contests
Come in costume and enter our costume contests. We have two: one for kids under 12, and one for teens and adults. Stop by any time between 11 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to have your costume photographed. Then John and his team will review every entry and announce the winners at 3:15 p.m., right after the dance party. Each winner takes home a box of socks!
John’s Monster Mash Dance Party
At 2:30 p.m., John takes over the dance floor. If you’ve ever seen John dance, you know you don’t want to miss this. Expect Halloween classics, plenty of the Monster Mash, and lots of happy people.

We’re proud to be a Teal Pumpkin stop this year. Our non-candy treats mean kids with food allergies can join in too. Look for the teal pumpkin out front.
A Halloween for Everyone
We believe everyone should get to enjoy Halloween. Before the party begins, we’re hosting a Sensory Halloween from 11 a.m. to noon: lower music, smaller crowds, and a calmer pace for families who prefer a lower-key visit. You’ll also meet our Sock Wranglers, many of whom have differing abilities, dressed up in their own costumes, of course.
Wear a Costume, Save 10%
Come in costume and get 10 percent off everything in the store. It’s a great time to pick up Halloween socks, gifts, and treats. Every purchase helps us create jobs for people with differing abilities. (Discount available in our Huntington store only.)
