Drunken Driver Pulled Over on LIE Tested 4 Times Above Legal Limit: Police
An open bottle of rum and cans of beer were found inside his vehicle, police say.

A 25-year-old man charged with DWI tested nearly four times above the legal limit Monday night after he was pulled over on the Long Island Expressway, police say.
According to authorities, cops pulled over a red 1997 Dodge Ram near Exit 39 in Old Westbury after receiving reports of the vehicle driving erratically eastbound on the LIE a few exits before at 9:15 p.m.
An open bottle of Captain Morgan rum and cans of Budweiser beer were found inside the vehicle, police say.
The driver, identified as Shirley resident Steven Bilella, registered a BAC of .31 percent and was placed under arrest, police say. A BAC of .08 or more is considered drunk driving.

No injuries were reported.
Bilella is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, aggravated DWI, DWI, DWI (BAC +.08) and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
