Golden Voices: Seniors Invited To Join Karaoke Program In Town Of Oyster Bay
If a senior doesn't feel like singing, they can also join the fun by watching their friends and dancing along.
TOWN OF OYSTER BAY, NY — Seniors are invited to grab the mic at a few community centers in local towns with the Town of Oyster Bay Senior Karaoke Program.
Oyster Bay Town Councilwoman Vicki Walsh encourages Town of Oyster Bay seniors to participate in the karaoke program. If a senior doesn't wish to sing, they're welcome to join in the fun by watching or dancing along. A song list and light refreshments will be provided– no registration is required.
"This fun karaoke program gives our seniors the opportunity to perform their favorite songs, with selections available from all genres, in a social and welcoming environment," she said. "Our Town seniors are invited to come down, make some new friends, and perform some of their favorite hits."
