Volunteer fire departments like Bayville's are the backbone of the communities throughout the 18th Legislative District. That's why it's important for County government to support them whenever possible such as via the $50,000 Community Redevelopment Project grant I worked on this year with Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton for Bayville FD toward the purchase of a much needed fire boat.
