Sagamore Hill invites you to bring your family and friends to join the weekend-long outdoor activities, all of which are free and open to the public. Sagamore Hill, home of the 26th President of the United States, Teddy Roosevelt and his family spent summers here in the 1870s. The Roosevelt’s raised a total of six children in the house and experienced some of the most memorable and cherished moments of their lives there.

Sagamore Hill is the most beautiful, best-preserved historical site right in your backyard. We offer so many wonderful community events that anyone can enjoy. There are so many opportunities for kids to get involved, starting with our Junior Ranger Program, which teaches kids how to protect national parks and historic sites. They learn about nature and history, have fun exploring the parks and earning their scouts patch.

Its eighty three acres of forested areas, meadows, salt marsh and beach are home to animals, insects, and birds. Enjoy the amazing scenery and take a long walk on the beach with family, friends, and pets. Come visit the area's natural beauty and enjoy the opportunities like hiking, rowing, swimming and riding!
