Jericho Man Made Several False 911 Calls on Neighbors: Police
The man called 911 to report shots fired and a woman screaming, police say.
A Jericho man was arrested Wednesday morning after police say he made several 911 calls where he falsely reported shots fired and a woman screaming to police.
According to authorities, Lawrence J. Michlin, 45, called 911 and falsely reported emergencies at a nearby home on Friendly Lane on four separate occasions starting in March.
The man called police twice and said he heard shots fired and the other two times he reported a woman screaming, police say.

Officers responded to these calls and found them all to be unfounded.
Michlin was arrested at his home at 12:20 a.m. and was charged with four counts of falsely reporting an incident. He was released on a desk appearance ticket and will appear in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday, Sept. 2.
