Man Dies After Being Struck by Snow Plow in Oyster Bay Cove

The accident occurred Sunday afternoon, police say.

OYSTER BAY COVE, NY- A 66-year-old man died after he was a struck by a snow plow in front of his Oyster Bay Cove home Sunday afternoon, Nassau Police said.

According to police, Al Mansoor was standing in front of his home on Cove Woods Road when he was hit by a plow that was clearing snow from the property at 2:15 p.m., police said.

Mansoor was transported to Syosset Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:40 p.m.. by hospital staff, police said.

Police did not identify the driver of the snow plow. No criminal charges are expected to be filed.
