With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. Our goal driven and technique oriented approach is the key to your child's success. Through skill based quality teaching our students develop a joy for learning and a passion for swimming. A man who stole an Oyster Bay woman's laptop and credit cards from her vehicle last month was arrested Monday afternoon, police say. According to authorities, a 42-year-old woman discovered that her property was removed from her vehicle that was parked in the driveway of her School Street home at 7 a.m. on Dec. 15. Police say the thief used the credit cards to make two separate transactions. Dashante M. Daniels, 21, of Patchogue, was arrested Monday at 2:50 p.m. at his residence without incident after police say they identified him as the person responsible for this crime. He was charged with third-degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree identity theft. He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead. Image via NCPD
