Man Stole Laptop, Credit Cards From Vehicle in Oyster Bay: Police
The man used the credit cards to make two transactions, police say.

A man who stole an Oyster Bay woman’s laptop and credit cards from her vehicle last month was arrested Monday afternoon, police say.
According to authorities, a 42-year-old woman discovered that her property was removed from her vehicle that was parked in the driveway of her School Street home at 7 a.m. on Dec. 15. Police say the thief used the credit cards to make two separate transactions.
Dashante M. Daniels, 21, of Patchogue, was arrested Monday at 2:50 p.m. at his residence without incident after police say they identified him as the person responsible for this crime.

He was charged with third-degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and third-degree identity theft.
He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
