Matt Martin Signs Autographs in Oyster Bay
Islanders left winger also discussed the direction of the team moving forward.
New York Islanders left winger Matt Martin signed autographs for fans Saturday at the Long Island Picture Frame & Art Gallery of Oyster Bay.
Martin, who’s been on the Islanders since the 2009-10 season, compiled four goals and seven assists to go along with 63 penalty minutes in 48 games this past season, which saw the Islanders make the playoffs.
“It’s very exciting,” Martin said. “Obviously this year was a big step in making the playoffs. We’ve come a long way since I first got here. Obviously, we’re still disappointed in the way it ended, but I think we have a bright future ahead.”
