Obituary: Birgitta L. Russell, 89, of Oyster Bay

Birgitta L. Russell passed away peacefully at her home in Oyster Bay on Thursday, May 21. She was 89 years old.

Beloved wife of 69 years of Edgar. Loving mother of Suzanne (Denis) Siple, Marita (David) Leslie. Cherished Grandmother of Alexander and Christian. Former longtime proprietor of Nassau Travel in Glen Cove.

Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay on Tuesday 2-4, & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday) at the funeral home.
