Teens Robbed At Gunpoint, Knifepoint Near Bayville School

BREAKING: Police say one of the robbers was 6 feet 7 inches tall.

Two teens were robbed by two men armed with a gun and a knife about one block from Bayville Elementary School on Friday night, police say.

According to authorities, the teens, ages 15 and 16, were walking on Godfrey Avenue near E. Slope Road when two men exited a vehicle, one displayed a knife while the other a black handgun, and demanded property at 9:15 p.m.

The robbers fled the scene in their vehicles after obtaining a "Skeleton" knife from one of the teens, police say.

Police said one robber was 6 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build and the other was 5 feet 11 inches tall. Both robbers were black and believed to be in their 20s, police say.

Detectives were made aware of the incident days after the robbery took place.
