Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino today announced that additional free weekday senior citizens fall activities will be offered by the Department of Community and Youth Services (CYS) in community centers throughout the Town. Painting with Jock is currently underway at both the Syosset-Woodbury Community Center and the North Massapequa Community Center, and Chair Yoga with Patty will begin to be offered at the North Massapequa Community Center starting on October 25th, and at the Glen Head Community Center beginning on November 3rd.

“Our senior residents here in the Town absolutely love these free activities and programs, where they can enjoy the company of others, make new friends, and stay active and engaged as the weather gets crisper and cooler as we transition into fall,” Supervisor Saladino said. “Our senior activities are extremely popular, and as a result, we have added more classes and more programs to help satisfy the demand! As a result of these expanded offerings, seniors can continue to enjoy the expansive and diverse activities that have be offered.”
