Village of Bayville Announces Beautification Results

Village of Bayville Announces Results of Year-Long Beautification Initiative

Bayville, New York (July 14, 2015) – The Village of Bayville Board of Trustees recently announced the progress of multiple beautification projects undertaken by the Village of Bayville so far this year. Since July 2014, the Village has taken numerous steps to beautify key community areas and improve overall village aesthetics. Most recently, the Village installed new bistro tables and seating in the Village Commons, and more than 3,000 daffodils were planted last fall.

“The bistro tables and daffodils are only part of the Board of Trustees’ overall plan to restore Bayville to its roots as an idyllic seaside community. We hope the completed projects will encourage residents and visitors to explore all the wonderful things our Village has to offer,” said Mayor Paul Rupp. “The Village of Bayville is a great place for families to come together, and we look forward to continuing to beautify the Village in the years to come.”

The Village of Bayville completed other improvements over the last year as well, including restoring the seawall located at Creek Road and the island by the Village of Bayville police booth. The West Harbor facility and local fire hydrants were recently repainted, and the Village also completed a variety of local landscaping improvements at Village Hall.
