'We Want Her Home:' Search Intensifies For East Norwich Woman Reported Missing

The woman's family urges neighbors to check their backyards, sheds, and surveillance footage for any sightings.

OYSTER BAY, NY — The search is underway for an East Norwich woman who was reported missing and last seen on Friday in Oyster Bay, police said.

Nassau County police said Brittany Kritis was last seen on foot on Friday at 8 p.m. in Oyster Bay and was reported to police at 8:30 p.m.

Her sister-in-law, Jess Kritis, said they found her wallet and keys on Florence Ave. in Oyster Bay, and the last footage seen of Brittany is from Friday at 8:14 p.m.

"We want her home," she said.

She urges the community to look in their yards and surveillance footage for any sightings of Brittany.

Brittany is described as a white woman, 5-feet, 7-inches tall, approximately 140 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing black pants and a black jacket with a fur collar, NCPD said.
