THE AUTHENTIC ACOUSTIC LIVING ROOM CREATED FOR THE ORIGINALITY OF CLASSIC MUSIC, WHICH SUPPORTS THE ULTIMATE JAZZ FELT EXPERIENCE OF A CONCERT AND MORE
Brownstone JAZZ is presented in a Historical 19th Century 1880's Victorian Townhouse Sankofa Aban Bed and Breakfast's Parlor Floor, living for continual concerts within the extremely vibrant jazz community Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn's years gone by.
The building was purchased and is still owned by the same family of six generation. They arrived to the community around the same time JAZZ did if not before. The artifacts that surround the two floors helps to transport you back to that earlier period, of when the Parris family arrived.
An up close and personal jazz room that features some of todays Best JAZZ ARTISTS. Musicians that work hard at keeping America’s first original music alive, along the BrownstoneJAZZ journey. They are the jazz Artists that have played, studied, toured, jammed and recorded on the major jazz scene for years.
Find some of NYC'S best performances, with engaged audiences from all over the world that are able to recognize the musicians that they’ve come to know in their own countries, playing the intimate jazz room that comes alive, right in front them.
