Acupuncture and Stress Management for Fertility

Stress: Everyone has it, and even when we try to avoid it, somehow it creeps back in to our lives. For those going through the process of fertility treatment, avoiding stress can become a conundrum. The process itself may bring on pressure, emotions, hormonal changes, frequent doctor visits and changes in lifestyle — all which can lead to an increase in stress. However, stress itself inhibits the body’s ability to conceive.

In this class acupuncturist Denise Bradbie of Slope Wellness will explain how acupuncture, a proven and time tested therapy over 5,000 years old, works to uncover any underlying imbalances and patterns of disharmony within the body and the treatment of infertility. We will also discuss many other way to manage stress both with other types of treatments such as massage or counseling as well as on your own with meditation and self-care.
