'Affordable' Apartments Near Barclays Center Require $81K Salary
More than 30 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are up for grabs in a building on Fulton Street.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN â More than 30 apartments are up for grabs through the city's affordable housing program in a building on Fulton Street, but only for those making at least $81,000 a year.
The 37 apartments include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom spots in a building at 810 Fulton St., also known as 475 Claremont.
The units will go to those making at least 130 percent of the area median income, or between $81,258 and $159,640 per year, according to the listing on Housing Connect.

For the studio spots, that means applicants should make at least $81,258 and expect to pay $2,370 per month.
The one-bedroom spots require at least an $87,155 salary and will go for $2,542 per month.

The two-bedroom units cost $3,063 per month and require that applicants make at least a combined $105,018 salary. Only groups of two, three, four or five people can apply for these spots.
Applications should be submitted before an Oct. 21 deadline.
The building includes a recreation room, bike storage lockers, an on-site resident manager, an accessible entrance and elevator, according to the listing.
It sits on the Fort Greene-Clinton Hill border on a corner lot and is a few blocks from the Barclays Center.
