City Council Member Brad Lander and Prospect Park Alliance President Sue Donoghue took inaugural gulps from one new lakeshore fountain moments before runners dashed off for the annual Turkey Trot.

The four fountains on Prospect Park Drive cost $175,000 and were funded through a District 39 participatory budgeting initiative, park officials said.
