Amy Poehler Is Behind This New Park Slope Wine Store
The actress and comedian partnered with her longtime friends to open a wine store on Fifth Avenue.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN â Brooklynites will have a unique opportunity when Amy Poehler's new "Wine Country" movie debuts on Netflix â pairing it with a bottle from the actress's new wine store.
Poehler is behind Zula Wines & Spirits, a wine store that opened a few weeks ago at 487 Fifth Ave., Eater reports. The new spot, run by Poehler's longtime married friends Amy Miles and Mike Robertson, features a large collection of cheap or higher-end options.
The opening comes just in time for the upcoming release of Poehler's directorial debut, a comedy movie on Netflix starring some of her former Saturday Night Live cast-mates called "Wine Country."

âIâve been surrounded by wine,â Poehler told Eater. âI enjoy a grĂźner...Iâm more of a white-wine gal, but honestly, Iâll just drink whatever Mike recommends to me.â
Miles and Robertson, both musicians, have deep experience in the wine retail business, Eater reports. Poehler said she and the couple have discussed collaborating on a project for a long time.

She plans to stop in the store every so often even though she spends most of her time in Los Angeles, the article said.
For the month of December, buyers can get 10 percent off their purchase of six bottles from the $13-and-under section. Zula is open daily from 12 to 9 p.m.
