WHAT: A single session workshop offering an introduction to the anatomical language, planes of movement, and major concepts of the skeletal and muscular systems as they relate to movement. The spine, its articulations, and the hip and shoulder regions will be explored in depth. Perfect for Pilates instructors who want to refresh their anatomy knowledge, teachers in truing, and advanced clients interested in BT’s 2015 Teacher Training Summer Intensive.

WHY: As a former teacher-of-teachers at Power Pilates, Enja was the go-to person for injuries and pathologies. She developed a corresponding, day-long continuing education workshop which covered over 70 injuries and conditions. Enja was also the main Basics of Anatomy teacher in NY State, a course required to enter the comprehensive Pilates teacher program. Let 2015 be the year to investigate and/or refresh your knowledge of the body in motion!
