Brooklyn’s Best Sledding Hills After NYC’s Massive Blizzard
A fresh 1 to 2 inches could fall on New York City Wednesday — and forecasters are already tracking another potential snowfall for Thursday.

BROOKLYN, NY — The record-breaking blizzard that slammed the city yesterday has transformed Brooklyn into a sledder’s paradise, blanketing the borough in deep snow just in time to take over your favorite hills.
Home to more designated sledding spots than anywhere else in New York City, Brooklyn is now fully coated after the massive storm dropped well over half a foot of snow, turning parks and playgrounds into steep, powdery runs.
The National Weather Service reported that parts of the borough were pummeled with roughly 22.5 inches of snow, rivaling totals in some of New York City’s snowiest neighborhoods during the massive blizzard. In Queens, snowfall at LaGuardia Airport and JFK Airport reached similar levels, grounding hundreds of flights as the powerful winter storm swept through the city.
