Brooklyn Youth Chorus; call for singers

Brooklyn Youth Chorus - auditions for young men (ages 12-21)

Call for Singers!

The Brooklyn Youth Chorus is currently soliciting auditions for the Men’s Ensemble and Men’s Training Division. Both groups serve young men aged 12-21 and provides urban teenage boys with access to excellent musicianship and vocal training using Brooklyn Youth Chorus’ trademarked Cross-Choral Training Method. Members also participate in once-in-a lifetime performance opportunities.

The Men’s Ensemble is a professional level all-men performing ensemble, and has performed concerts with internationally renowned artists like Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Alicia Keys, and more.

The Men’s Training Division is a new course offering this coming season, and will be geared toward young men whose voices are beginning to change and is open to all male singers regardless of prior experience. The Men’s Training Division will serve as a training chorus to prepare younger, less experienced singers for promotion into the Men’s Ensemble.
