Calling All Volunteers!

THE JEWISH BOARD WELCOMES VOLUNTEERS FROM BROOKLYN TO PARTICIPATE IN FALL MITZVAH DAY ON OCTOBER 18, 2015.

The Jewish Board welcomes volunteers to participate in its Fall Mitzvah Day on October 18, 2015, a day to perform good deeds and help the community. Jewish Board locations throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Westchester offer projects for individuals of all ages, families and groups to join in. Mitzvah Day activities include arts and crafts, a photo walking tour, sports, games, October-Fest and more. Volunteers will help adults, teens and children involved in The Jewish Board’s programs. For more information and to register, contact Dana Mindlin at 212-632-4688, volunteer@jbfcs.org, or visit http://www.JewishBoard.org/MitzvahDay.

For more than 140 years, The Jewish Board has been helping individuals to realize their potential and live as independently as possible. With hope and resilience guiding its work, The Jewish Board promotes recovery by addressing all aspects of a person’s life, including mental and physical health, family, housing, employment and education. Each year, the nonprofit organization serves more than 43,000 people of all ages across the five boroughs and at a campus in Westchester.
