PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A national chain selling the popular stress-relieving cannabis products known as CBD will open its first New York City location in Brooklyn this weekend.

"Your CBD Store," a chain that is in 38 states across the country, is getting ready to open a storefront on Park Slope's Fifth Avenue, BKLYNER first reported. The shop offers a variety of cannabidiol products, or those made with a compound found in the cannabis plant that has been purported to offer medical benefits.

The shop will open at 195 Fifth Ave. this coming weekend, the store announced on its Facebook page.

"At Your CBD Store, we believe in bringing the highest quality CBD products to market," they said on their website. "We formulate our products with our customers’ needs in mind, using other cannabinoids and terpenes, creating unique synergies that increase efficacy, target specific ailments, and increase the binding of CBD."

The store's offerings will include everything from pet products, to vitamin capsules, to bath bombs, to gummies infused with the compound, according to the site.

The chain joins several other stores that sell CBD oils and other products in the neighborhood, but seem to be the first dedicated specifically to the cannabis compound.

Park Slope is also home to Brooklyn's first medical marijuana dispensary, which opened earlier this year and has since been joined by two others in Williamsburg and Brooklyn Heights.

Your CBD Store has locations across the country, including nearly 20 others in New York, but this will be its first New York City store, according to the website.
