Demolition Begins For Park Slope Building
A two-story building could soon make way for a larger residential development.
PARK SLOPE— Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 238 22nd Street, bringing 39 new residences and rooftop terraces to the corner of Fifth Avenue and 22nd Street.
The proposed 85-foot building would include 27,152 square feet of residential space, with apartments averaging about 696 square feet.
The concrete building would also include a cellar, rooftop terraces on the top two floors, seven outdoor parking spaces and two enclosed spaces.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the existing two-story mixed-use building.
