Climate Awareness Day

Parents for Climate Protection and  Congregation Beth Elohim are running an event that informs and educates around Federal Legislation for limiting carbon emissions, and provides opportunities for taking action around these issues.

Keynote speakers include Liz Butler, Campaign Director at 1 Sky, the nation's largest, collaborative climate campaign and Donna Goodman, Executive Director of the EarthChild Institute. Following this, breakout sessions will be held with NYPIRG, Transportation Alternatives, Brooklyn Food Coalition and Rabbi Daniel Bronstein.
