EXHIBITION OPENING: At Home by Heather Weston

About the Exhibition:

AT HOME is an on going series by the Brooklyn-based photographer Heather Weston. The project began as an exploration of how Weston’s friends and neighbors inhabited their spaces, whether grand or small. Born of her own experience with the challenges of living in a small space and evolving into a unique document of the way we live now. Capturing the diversity of the modern definition of family, and showcasing many different interpretations of personal style. The pictures are vibrant, the people are genuine and the spaces feel familiar; it’s an inquiry into real life, so the series feels very much like a departure from what we see of people and homes in the popular media.

AT HOME reflects New York’s diverse and fascinating population, while gratifying all New Yorker’s urge to peek into our neighbors’ windows and see how our fellow city dwellers really live.
