Subway Lunatic Lays Xmas Lights, Concrete On Tracks: NYPD
The man has placed a fire extinguisher, Christmas lights and a bag of concrete on the tracks at four stations in Park Slope and Sunset Park.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A mysterious hooded man has been putting everything from fire extinguishers to Christmas lights on top of subway tracks in Brooklyn, police said.
Police first released a photo of the man late last month and said he had intentionally put debris onto the D train tracks at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station just after midnight on May 9.
But since then, police said, the same man has been seen putting objects onto tracks at three other subway stations in the area.

Most recently, around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, he put Christmas lights onto the northbound rails of an N train at the Fourth Avenue-9th Street station in Park Slope.
Just a few days before, last Wednesday, June 5, the man hit up two stations in one hour.

Around 2 a.m. that morning he put a fire extinguisher, a bank of lights, a bag of concrete mix and a "metal shim" onto the southbound tracks of an R train, police said. The R train rain over the fire extinguisher, causing the mono ammonium phosphate powder from inside to come out.
Then, about 40 minutes later, the same man put a shovel onto the southbound track of the R train down at the 45th Street station in Sunset Park.
There were no injuries or property damage at any of the incidents, police said. The man is wanted on reckless endangerment charges.
Police describe him as being in his 20s and said he was last seen, caught on surveillance video at the most recent incident, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
