IMANI HOUSE, a nonprofit dedicated to providing needed
services to low-income youth and families in Brooklyn, will proudly host the
2nd Annual Walk-to-Live Walk-a-thon in Prospect Park on Sunday June 22nd. Themed “Fruit
or Life,” this year’s event will join local families, elected officials and
other IMANI HOUSE supporters to bring awareness to the challenges of childhood obesity among Brooklyn communities.
All are welcome to the IMANI HOUSE Walk-to-Live Walk-a-thon, which will run from
9am to 3pm (rain or shine) at the Grecian Shelter on Parkside Avenue in
Prospect Park. Registration is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Sponsorship
opportunities are also available and those that cannot attend are welcome to
make a tax-deductible donation in support of the Walkathon.
