Intro to Fashion Design Part 1 (Ages 10-12)

Intro to Fashion Design Part 1 at Kids Design the World in Prospect Heights!

This is an introductory class for children 10-12 year olds.
During this program, students will:
• Learn a brief fashion history and history of costume• Learn proper fashion nine heads sketch• Sketch and develop collections• Learn a new vocabulary list • Properly identify garments• Basic understanding of patterns• Put together a given garment• Understanding of fabrics and its seasons• In color concept, they will work with color harmony by using and creating their color wheelo Example (hem, seams, seam allowance, silhouette, pattern, trend, fad, draping)
