Intro to Paint and Color at Kids Design the World in Prospect Heights!

This is an introductory class for 3-5 year olds introducing them to the color wheel and painting basics. In this class your child will be introduced to the Basics of Painting. Children are encouraged to paint with primary colors as well as colors they have mixed on their own. Children will be able to learn how to identify colors in nature and differentiate between bright, dark and light colors to prepare them for basic color mixing. After students have a grasp of basic colors, they will be introduced to their favorite colors (in the form of paint.) Students will be provided with music to paint to as a way to activate their inner creativity and express themselves. With interactive, hands-on learning and lots of music and play, they will learn how to apply paint and paint with confidence and assertiveness. If your child is creative, curious, and loves to play with their imagination, we highly recommend this class for you!
