Nitehawk Cinema First Look: Photos And Movie Schedule Released

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Nitehawk Cinema's highly-anticipated Park Slope theater may not open to the public until Wednesday afternoon, but new photos of its interior and a schedule of shows for the next week means Slopers can already start planning their first trip inside.

The dine-in theater's second location will officially open Wednesday, Dec. 19 with a slate of seven movies, some with corresponding dining specials.

New photos released by Nitehawk offer a peek inside the 34,000-square-foot facility, complete with homages to its roots as the historic Pavilion Theater like a restored mezzanine overlooking the park. The

Movie options for the first week include big-name blockbusters like "Aquaman" and "Mary Poppins Returns" mixed in with more indie options, such as the documentary "Free Solo" or the Japanese film festival favorite "Shoplifters."
