Nominate A 'COVID Hero' To Be Honored At Brooklyn Borough Hall
Borough President Eric Adams is looking for nominations for a second round of awards for those who stepped up in the coronavirus crisis.

BROOKLYN, NY — Do you know a Brooklynite or organization who stepped up during the coronavirus crisis?
Eric Adams wants to know about it.
The Brooklyn borough president has scheduled a second round of awards for "Brooklyn's COVID Heroes," an initiative aimed at recognizing heroism from those who helped the borough during the pandemic.

The first round of awards celebrated 80 people and organizations at Borough Hall with a ceremony last month.
This round, Brooklynites can nominate "individuals, groups, and organizations whose generous efforts directly contributed to the safety and well-being of Brooklyn’s residents and institutions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic" through a form online.

The ceremony will be held Nov. 10 at Borough Hall. The nominations deadline is Oct. 30.
