Park Slope YMCAs Team Up For Food Drive This Weekend

The Prospect Park YMCA and Park Slope Armory YMCA are holding a food drive until Sunday.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Park Slope's two YMCAs have teamed up for a food drive this week.

The Prospect Park YMCA and Park Slope Armory YMCA are collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items through Sunday, Jan. 31. The food drive kicked off on Thursday this week.

The donations will benefit Camp Friendship Food Pantry, which is found on Eighth Street near Sixth Avenue, according to the organizations.

Both YMCAs will be accepting donations between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Prospect Park YMCA is found on Ninth Street and the Park Slope Armory is on 15th Street.
