Brooklyn For Peace is a 30-year old peace and justice organization with hundreds of members in neighborhoods throughout the borough. We seek to prevent war, and the social and economic injustices which lead to war. Money used for war creates austerity at home by drastically restricting funds needed for jobs, affordable housing, decent public schools, and repair to our crumbling infrastructure, among other urgent needs of the American people.
