'Pee On Me' Trump Statues Going Global, Artist Says
"We must scale up production," Phil Gable wrote, "to make the dream of peeing on Trump as real as possible for as many as possible."
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN -- The artist behind the "Pee On Me" Trump statues that popped up in Park Slope last week has launched a crowdfunding campaign to take the product, and its message, global.
"Originally, I wasn't planning to sell them," said Phil Gable, the Park Slope artist who quietly installed the pee-posts in outposts around the neighborhood.
"But the requests to get one or buy one just came in like a tidal wave, which is the absolute best problem I've had."

That's why Gable has launched an Indiegogo campaign to bring in the capital to "crank up a real large scale production," for the busts and green turf.
A promotional video explains Gable's thought process behind the creation.

"Did Donald Trump pay escorts for golden showers? And is Putin using videos of those golden showers to control Trump?"
"Probably."
"Is it satisfying to watch dogs pee on Tiny Trumps either way?"
"Definitely."
Gable hopes to bring some comic relief in a tense time, but noted the "Pee-on-me Trump" also has a pragmatic use.
"If you want to encourage dogs to pee somewhere besides your prized flower bed, just place one of these little guys nearby," Gable wrote. "The Pee-on-me Trump is ideal for people who are anti-Trump, pro-dog, and pro-flower.
Gable reports there have been requests for Trump potties from across the globe, and that's why the artist is hoping to raise $38,000 to start streamlining production and get those orders shipped.
"We must scale up production," Gable wrote, "to make the dream of peeing on Trump as real as possible for as many as possible."
