Plane's Wing Hits Blast Fence at JFK
Crews were working to dislodge the wing from the fence Saturday morning.

A Virgin Atlantic flight hit the blast fence at John F. Kennedy International Airport Saturday morning.
According to Port Authority, Virgin Atlantic Flight 26 headed to London was being pushed back from Gate 3 at Terminal 4 when one of the plane’s wings hit the blast fence around 8:30 a.m.
“Noooooo!! They crashed our plane into the blast fence!! I just want to go home!!” tweeted one passenger.

No injuries were reported and all 276 passengers were brought back to the terminal.
“As the plane was taxiing, the tug miscalculated things and this caused the damage,” Virgin Atlantic tweeted in response to disgruntled passengers.
