Brooklyn For Peace and many other peace, justice and community groups will be standing outside the Democratic debate and calling on both Democratic Party candidates to pledge to make significant reduction in the Pentagon/war budget a priority in their campaigns.

JOIN US as we gather for a rally and press conference on Thursday, April 14, 6:30 PM at the entrance to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the scene of the NY Democratic Debate.

This is a non-partisan rally. We are not endorsing or opposing either candidate. But we will have banners and
posters and a flyer highlighting the need to “Move the money” from the bloated Pentagon/war budget to meet the
pressing needs of our communities — housing, health, education, transportation, nutritional and taking care of our stressed climate.
