You did it.  You survived another NY winter.   Time to cool off and enjoy a cold beer, a gf cocktail, some fine tunes and a selection of locally made, gluten-free, taste-full foods.   Please join us at the Spring Edition of The Gluten-Free EatUP! returning to the welcoming atmosphere of local favorite Freddy's Bar 627 Fifth Avenue in South Slope Brooklyn, on Sunday June 1, 2014  from 1pm to 6pm.  Hosted by Levine's General Store and Kimcheelicious.com.
This month, purchase some snacks and a drink and chill out inside or take a seat in the eclectic back outdoor space.Meet new merchants and returning favorites:

Why a GF Market?: For some folks, eating gluten-free can be: a matter of life and death and chronic pain, (celiac disease, intolerance, sensitivity), a matter of feeling "whole" and healthy for others, a choice, a lifestyle or something to try. Whatever the reason, gluten-free foods don’t have to be sad and tasteless. Our goal is to present some of our favorite merchants and gluten-free products, in a fun and casual setting. We will feature 8-12 merchants on a rotating monthly basis. So, EatUP!

*For our Celiac & Gluten Free Friends:  Please note that Freddy's Bar is not a gluten-free establishment.  Food at the EatUP! will not be prepared in the Freddy's kitchen.    Merchants selling at the market produce their products in a variety of facilities, with a variety of scenarios.  For example: separate equipment in a shared kitchen or a completely dedicated gluten free facility.  Questions can be directed to individual vendors/merchants as well for further clarity.   While we cannot 100% guarantee, please know that we are taking every effort and precaution to avoid cross-contamination.
