You Have Until March 25 to Register to Vote in This Year's Wild Presidential Primary
New Yorkers can register online or in person at a state agency.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — If you'd like to have your say in the wildest election in recent memory, you'll have to cast a ballot in New York's presidential primary on April 19. And in order to do that, you'll have to be registered.
Registration applications must be postmarked by March 25 and received by the Board of Elections by March 30th.

However, New Yorkers can also register to vote online using their state driver license or permit (or a non-driver ID) and a social security number.
You can register to vote at a variety of state agencies as well. The county's Board of Elections, located at 200 Varick Street in Manhattan, is one such place.
