1 Arrest After Woman Stabbed, Car Swiped And Found Crashed In Patchogue: Police
The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A woman was stabbed, her vehicle swiped, and then found crashed in Patchogue on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A man and a woman got into a fight inside of the woman's vehicle, stabbed her, and then swiped it on Medford Avenue at around 3:40 p.m., police said, adding, that the vehicle was found abandoned after a crash a short time later.
The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said, adding that officers found the man nearby a short time later and arrested him.

Frank Redd, 43, of North Bellport, was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault, both felonies, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
